Review of Bergen’s 3-hour food and culture walk, with Norwegian tastings, local stories, practical tips, pricing, and honest drawbacks.

“Ole was our guide. He was very informative and was loud enough for the group to hear. He stopped at some amazing places and we sampled some amazing food. I don’t care for fish much but I did try some of the fish food. The price was actually really good. We finished the tour at a bar basement that was supposedly haunted and was told the tale of how it became that way.”

“We had it so lucky - the Aurora was in full and it was stunning night to say the least. Best of the season. We only traveled a short distance out of town - Alba and Marten were passionate about what they wanted us to see. Sadly the rest of the bus were only interested in taking a selfie for insta and wanted to turn back and go home in less than 30 mins They did not realise how lucky they had it and so Marten and Alba had to balance the group dynamic - and they did this well! These people were not prepared for the cold and had…”

“We loved our tour with Eden! It really fits the description - tucked away treats and history in Oslo that you would never stumble upon otherwise, and while still in Oslo it was nice to have a few quieter hours away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. We had excellent food and felt the walking amount was very reasonable. Key to know that the tour ends about 25-30 minute walk from where it starts, so either just prepare for that ahead of time or plan to catch the tram back into town! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!”

“The museum was interesting and the tasting tour was great. However, the service was AMAZING. We were a bit delayed but the manager was extremely helpful and made sure we still got the experience. We went to the restaurant after and it was also AMAZING. The fish soup is a must. We also had a northern lights tour for another company get cancelled and Full Steam was able to include us in their tour at the last minute and were so great and accommodating. I would give them more stars if I could. Full Steam has been the best part of our vacation.”
