“My daughter and I did this self-drive husky dog sledding experience about 35 minutes from Tromsø, in the hills of the neighbouring island. Despite windy and snowy conditions, the activity was very well organised and great fun. We started sledding at 14:00, which meant sledding in the dark using headlamps. While this was still enjoyable, I would recommend going during the twilight hours (around 09:30–14:30) and hoping for clear weather to better appreciate the beautiful surrounding landscape.
